Dress Code
Preschool - 4th Grade
Pink leather ballet shoes (black for boys), black patent leather tap shoes. Any color leotard and tights. Skirt or shorts, optional. Hair pulled back, if long.
5th Grade - 12th Grade
Pink split-sole ballet shoes (black for boys), Pointe shoes (best fit), Black split sole tap shoes (Bloch 389). Any color leotard and tights. Skirt or shorts, optional. Hair in a bun, please.
Jazz/Lyrical & Hip Hop
Black split-sole jazz shoes (Capezio ej2). Leotard and tights or jazz tops with jazz pants or shorts. Hair pulled back if long.
Costumes
Costumes will be ordered in early January, costume fitting and measurement will be done in December. In the past, costume prices have averaged $55. A $55 deposit will be added for each class to the session 3 (November 29, 2010) bill. The additional balance (if applicable) will be added to the session 4 bill. Costumes will not be ordered if the deposit is not paid in full.
Tuition Payments
Payments are due at your student's first class in each session. A $5 per week late fee will be added to any late payments. There will be an additional $25 charge for returned checks. There will be no refunds for missed clases. Classes can be made-up for illness only as long as the make-up class occurs during the same session as the absence.

Inclemental Weather Policy
Motions Dance Academy will make a decision as to when they will close due to inclemental weather which may or may not follow the Lincoln Public Schools closing. Since our hours of operation are during the evening and Saturdays, the weather can be different than the school day hours. If Motions decides to close, we will post it on the website and place a message on the studio telephone answering machine. Please check these sources when wondering about potential weather closings.
